DR missed early signs it wasn't going well
Dear oh Dear oh Dear how on earth do I manage it? Totally different hospital too
On checking back through my xrays with the hospital yesterday we once again picked up something that was missed. Going back to last October it clearly shows on the xrays that the replacement had moved!! How on earth they missed it I do not know, even I could see it.
That means it had moved only weeks after surgery, well before I was allowed to start riding or doing yard jobs.
Good news is that while it was missed it hasn't really made any difference to the final outcome. In fact it has given me chance to build muscles inbetween the surgeries and have some fun with Micah
The other not so good news is that my foot is rather twisted on the end of Tibia. I can turn it and make it straight but it means I will never be able to walk barefoot as it needs constant support, which we are hoping will stop it collapsing inwards. They also hope that correct physio will at least help the problem
Needless to say I am being monitored extra carefully
So fingers crossed it all works out in the end.
3 weeks in this air cast doing physio, then I start to walk without it.
Hope to be riding in a few weeks
