My confusing mare :)

My field mate has moved to pastures new (excuse the pun) leaving my mare on her own until my friend moves her horse in at the weekend.
Now I was really worried about how she was going to cope for the couple of days shes alone as shes quite highly strung and slightly idiotic to put it nicely but shes all of a sudden become a different horse! She's so relaxed and seems so happy, I can't believe she doesn't miss her friends at all.
I know its not 'natural' for horses to like being on their own. Does this make her a weirdo?

My mare's field mate went away for training and the other one died suddenly in the field and I thought Jess would freak out!! But she was absolutely fine on her own. She was happy when her friend came back but she didn't go as mental as I thought she would! She is a tb as well! Weird creatures!
