I only wanted a girth....... have ended up ordering a girth (well at least I ordered what I wanted eh - I ordered one of the Stubben String ones), Mark Todd travel boots and some travel shaped leg pads (only have one pair of travel boots and 3 horses) and a WW tail guard, so will at least have 3 of those! Oh and a quarter sheet - an Aerborn reflective woven one, in Navy blue and Cambridge blue

Know how you feel SoddenNight - I pop into our local horse shop for maybe a tub of Milk Thistle and inexplicably come out with new chaps, pink feed stirrers, horse treats, lead ropes, jewel encrusted head collars, stable mats, pink feed buckets, bucket lids...I think my tongue develops a life of it's own and I can't stop it asking for things! My name is Box Of Frogs and I'm a Horse-stuff-oholic.

Me too! Always coming up with new things my horse NEEDS! He actually wont survive if i dont buy him a new dressage girth, or new over reach boots, or new brushing boots, or that new bit! Oh and i just HAD to have that new jacket, etc!

Wish you'd said about travel boots... I have a set of Mark Todds that have been used for 1/2 an hour... they don't fit the ginger beastie...

I am as bad...go in the feed place for a bag of carrots and nearly always end up spending over £100! Bought a new leather headcollar last week, some brushes, plaiting bands and would have bought a new bridle if they had the one I liked!

Its better if my OH gets the feed....

I have this syndrome too. My pony needs some more shavings but I am sure I will find lots of bits and bobs that she cannot live without when I go to buy them.

I think i suffer from this as well, and I have to go to the saddlery at the weekend for a new set of bedding and im taking the trailer, maybe i should just take cash and leave the plastic at home...
