Hello everybody!

I love horses. That's a good start isn't it?
I am just working out how to use these forums, I had to join as my dad (pedantic) is always raving about it!

I have ridden since I was 7 yrs old. Had lots of 'highs' and unfortunately just as many 'lows', but I am now back in the saddle and am currently on my search for my 'pefect pony' once again. Having private lessons at mo while I wait and LOVING it. Also found my pefect pony but they won't sell it! It is a hafflinger (ironic as I had one of those a few years back and it was a complete cow! lol), is 6 years old, fussy, ace jumper and gorgeous. Don't think they'll sell it anytime soon, guttered!!

Anyways, look forward to making buddies.

Welcome to the forum, sure you will get just as addicted as your Dad! And no you don’t want a Haffy you want a Fjord (obviously I’m a Fjord Fan). Hope you find your perfect ned very soon!

Would you like to hear the low down of what your old mare's been up to? (which admittedly isn't much seeings as she's been lame for the past four months!!...now back in work) .... sadly I've outgrown her now though, so once she's back in full work she'll be for sale.

Well very long story, basically farrier ruined her feet, then as soon as we got her sorted in front she went lame behind, had xrays/scans the lot, had steroid injections and sorted.

So we've got a week of walking then a week of walk/trot then hopefully we can start schooling again.

She's been amazing for me, we've had every tantrum going, but wouldn't change any of it (apart from the lame part). Just got to find her the perfect home now with someone who loves her as much as I do
