Went to Eastington yesterday and took my TB Ebony and my friends Welsh Cob Shy. Shy's owner entered him in to the in-hand Mountain and Moorland class, although he was not placed as he was a bit of a handful looking for my horse! She did very well to control him
They then went on to enter Shy in to the ridden Mountain and Moorland class, not realising they had forgotten a show jacket! We went around and asked a few people but decided to give up, and then as I had all my gear I volunteered to ride him for her and she agreed! Same happened as the in-hand class, wouldn't stand still and was far more interested in Ebony. We didn't get placed again but the judge LOVED him!!!!! Which was a bonus!!
After that I went on to jump Ebony in the 2'6" Show Jumping, She won me a 1st and with that came a £5 gift voucher off of a bag of Baileys feed! And also a free Wash and Proof for one rug, which usually costs £18
I think I did well!!!!
We had a go at the pairs too which was after the Show Jumping (with a horse and rider which I met at the show) and Ebony decided 2 foot was way too small for her to see and put in a dirty stop
Which I managed to stay on board for thanks to her neck lol! Then I went on to jump the wrong fence and so we were eliminated, although it was a laugh
!
Here is Shy
And Ebony!
