He's only been xc schooling twice, so I shouldn't have been too surprised that he was easily distracted when he's never done a whole course. He's so bloomin powerful that in half a stride you can be 10m to the left or right of where you were pointing the second before! He's v bold though, doesn't bat an eyelid at ditches or water.
Lucca said he's got plenty of enthusiasm to spare: the cow pony would be like a rubber ball.
Goodness I am so blonde at times - I've only just figured out who you are, even though it says in your siggy!
That was such an entertaining read! I shall tell tell Mini-HH all about it! Well done and looking forward to more reports. How old is HH now? Will he be doing age classes?
Am very excited Lec, fingers crossed it's not just a flash in the pan.
Oooh yes, do tell mini-H, I'm sure he'd like to be an event horse when he's all grown up. He and Myrtle (our One More Tiger yearling) could be competing against each other.
HH is six this time and will have a shot at the PAVO qualifiers again.
Sadly I think Liberty may lack the necessary brain-power, it's never been his forte. We will have to find him another career, professional scrounger maybe?
