My OH walked our little jack Russell this morning and apparently she got into a fight- an old mans JRT slipped its collar (twice!) and came running up to bella who was on an extending lead. She's the nicest natured dog ever and didn't really stand up for herself, my OH picked her up (joys of having a tiny dog) and the old man caught up and got his dog under control.
OH told me about it but I checked her over and she didn't have any wounds, seemed fine in herself etc. She was walked at about 9am. Since about an hour ago she has been sort of tilting her head to the side, looks like her ear is really bothering her. Checked it and no visible cuts but a tiny bit of blood and general groggy-ness inside the ear.
Obviously it's quite late now- is there anything we can do to make her more comfy before a vet trip tomorrow? She hasn't cried at all but quite subdued. We took her on another walk at about 4pm and she was full of energy. Her hearing is fine.
Any ideas/tips? Worried for her
