My dog is a gentleman!

I love this dog so much he is such a nice boy. Jack along with Jazz live outside but they are given the choice to come in if they ever want. Jazz prefers to be out on his straw bed but Jack will come into the inner porch for some peace and quiet on occasion. Rascal and our old collie Chloe live in the house.

So Sunday night we had some friends round and when one friend went out to have a ciggie he took Chloe with him so she could go out and have a pee, well when he opened the door she stood patiently waiting for the screen door to be opened, my friend was busy putting his shoes on so Jack got up from his sleep walked over swiped the door (don’t stand behind it though when he does open it otherwise you will likely be knocked out!) He let Chloe out and then turned around went back to his place and led down!!! Our friend had to come in and tell us he couldn’t believe what he had just seen.

He is a Great Pyrenees maybe with something else in there as I thought they were white or badger coloured. He does have the double dew claws and guards our sheep from the Coyotes, my Dad did comment that when he was hiking last year in the Pyrenees he saw a couple just like him guarding their flocks. But either way I don’t care he is a fabulous dog and great to have on the farm.
