my dog is limping

he is lame on his front left leg no heat swellings or cuts he was fine half an hour ago and all he has done is lie down and wen he got up he was lame he is a 1 1/2 year old border collie
should i call the emergency vet

He'll be fine to be seen tomorrow if he's no better,

Agree with above, keep him quiet and take to vets in the morning (if still lame).

Could just be a dead leg where he's laid on it. The vet probably wouldn't see him anyway.

My spaniel does this sometimes - its seems to resolve itself. I don't know whether its the way he lies on it or whether he 'twists' his ankle as he stands up/jumps of his sofa! Anyway after limping around like a total drama queen it just disappears - usually to chase the cat or beg for food!
