My dog is unsettled after her walks?

My dog has started acting strange after her walks. She used to go to sleep on the sofa after her walk. But recently she has started running between her dog bed and the sofa, settling in one place for afew minutes then getting up and running to the next place. She just seems so unsettled. I should add she never used to even use her dog bed which is even stranger. Any ideas?
 
Silly question but not young nettles is it? Pen runs about like a loon if she has been stung.
 
Could she be allergic to something she encounters on her walks, like grass? I used to know a Staffy with a grass allergy. She got sore feet.

Yeah, she’s got really bad allergies. Always has had. Although this is a new behavioural. But we recently moved to the countryside so perphaps she’s encountering something new that she’s allergic to.. didn’t consider that. Thanks
 
If she is funny about her back end generally I'd want to get that checked out. If she is in pain or has a tweak somewhere, walks could be exacerbating it. In that case, it may be that on a walk the drive/adrenaline will carry her through and when she gets home/curls up/lies down, she starts to feel discomfort and becomes anxious.

That makes sense. She looks so uncomfortable when she’s pacing between the sofa and her bed. I think I will have to take her in. Something ain’t right although she’s only 4 YO.
 
Could be just a tweak and be sorted with rest and pain relief, but I'd definitely get it checked out. If you have wood/laminate/tiles or any slippy floor surface I'd put a few rugs down to stop her skittering about. Be careful with things like stairs and steps/jumping on and off furniture/in and out of cars in the meantime.
 
You could take her to see a canine massage therapist as it sounds like it could be muscle related, some offer a free muscular health check. If they found the problem they'd need vet consent to treat it
