I have a 2 year old boxer x bull mastiff and last year she suddenly started hoping, we took her to vets and she had scans and everything done and the problem was she had damaged a part of the knee behind the tendon. The vet give a course of metacam IV and she was oral rhymidal this seemed to work and vet put of the op ans it ment cutting the healthy tendon
. About 3 months ago the treatment stopped working and she had the op, everything went well and she seemed to be recovering well
. Last week we noticed the other hind leg looked bad so off to the vets again and what do you know she has done the other knee and needs the same op on it
they can not do the op for at least 2 months as the 1st leg she done is not strong enough. Ap this is common in boxers and staffs. Does anybody have any experance am worried that she only just 2 and both legs have gone.
