Come home from EMS (work expo) this evening and beau is hopping lame on this front left paw!

It looks like there are 2 really thin cuts on his pad, sort of like imagine a scalpel poked in and out........

its not bleeding, but its quite warm (but so is the other legs one) ...............

not sure what to do? any advice? or just a leave it and dont leg him charge like a nutter on it?

Can i join the lame collie club please??.My collie has strained his front leg and is hopping on hard ground,Trying to stop a 12 month old collie from going doolally without much exersize is easier said than done.
What about putting some Tea tree cream on the cuts to see if that will heal them abit quicker?.

Lucy, I'd bathe it in a simple antiseptic solution, watered down, and keep it as clean as possible, so no hooning or digging for a few days.
OH's brother's dog does this all the time on broken glass

this morning he was 50% better, and now this evening he is fine (thank god!) so now of course he is going nutty as he didnt get walked last night!!!!

off for a big old tootle now!!!
