Hi!
My 15 month old dog, Mia recently started not eating her kibble in the morning. We are thinking about changing foods, as she doesn't like this one very much, but do you guys have any ideas to get her to eat her food?
Thanks!

Do you feed her before or after her morning walk? Is she a good weight, over weight or thin? I wouldn’t be that fussed tbh. As above if she is healthy in every other way she may not be hungry and often more appetising food they will eat no matter what is not as good for them (higher salt and sugar). Sort of like me skipping my breakfast some days but if someone offered me a slice of cake I’d still take it. ;)

Could you be over-feeding her? A healthy dog won’t starve itself so try giving smaller quantities to see if she eats up. What brand do you feed?
Not sure if you heard of Husse. It was the brand that worked out best for us, because many other brands messed with her tummy. I'm going to try giving her smaller quantities. Thank you!

I feed her after her walk, on some days I even take her out for a bike ride. Her weight is perfect and she is healthy. Thank You so much for your reply!

If it really bothers you, give literally one handful in her bowl, and put the bowl down somewhere that you cant watch her eat like a secure garden. Its to stop you giving out frustrated/ worried signs which can be stressy for a dog
Not a criticism of you- I had to do this with my fussy whippet , to stop seeing him turning his pointy spoilt nose up at damned expensive food!

Mine won't eat until they have had their morning exercise, or if I am training I take their breakfast and they work for it.
