Ok So I gave my 14.3hh cob mare a few carrots the past week and now im freaking out help!

she had a bought of lami in november 2010, was tested and confirmed ems in jan 2011, nearly lost her!! but after remedial shoeing, massive change of diet, lost 160 kilos, gradually increased turn out again, she is now turned out in the day in at night, on 12 hour soaked hay, top spec anti lam, dengie healthy hoof. She is ridden 5 days a week, lunged on one day and on the walker for a hour + the other.

No treats since her change in diet, but I gave her a few carrots the past week to get her to do her stretches...... (one every other day at most) max of three in the past week.

Do you think she be ok?

I think she'll be fine, don't worry.

Lami isn't a 'one thing issue'.

It's a collection of issues that mount up - like a game of Jenga and that one last piece makes it all fall down.

If you want alternatives to carrots, you can use dried rosehips and brazil nuts.
