Evening everyone
I posted the other week about the possibility of having a lesson with Ernest Dillon and got rather mixed bunch of messages / thoughts / feelings
So in true me form booked the lesson to find out myself, I had a day off and needed to fill my time with Saf, can't waste days off
So Thur came hair cut ran late and was worried I would be rushing, was glad to arrive at Parwood (amazing venue / yard) had been XC there the week before and the lady in charge met me and reassured me he was running late, what service
Saf was tacked up and I got on and went in, was sharing the group with just one other, a lovely lady. I always get that "try to ride perfect" moment hope you know what I mean when you just try to hard, anyway he soon had us working hard on the flat, on and back in the canter then choosing a line and first riding downwards transitions keeping straight then canter walk canter walk canter walk canter before the end to get them to sit.
I was like mega red at the end of this as it was very hot
So jumping he sussed me very quickly and said that I am a "control freak"
I know, he said I do to much and just need to sit still........why is doing nothing so hard???
He also told me my horse is neither blind or stupid.....giggle......in other words pass on some responsibility to her
Anyway won't bore you forever here is the video taken by my friend on her phone, you may need to watch on full screen but hope you get the idea, I have tried to leave the comments in

As always feel free to comment away, I totally loved my lesson and will defo go back again, the surface at Parwood is amazing and they are so friendly
So that was Thur and today we were at Merrist Wood for BD M75 and AM85
No pics or videos yet, pro ones up tomorrow
M75 had some lovely moments but I totally fluffed the left right simple change, no idea what I was doing Saf got confused and struck of wrong twice
and she decided she was going to halt early at the end lol so 63.24 for 2nd
Onto AM85 I can't do any changes in the warm up she gets wild, really pleased with how she went I again fluffed up 2 centre lines going wide before the 1/2 pass not her fault for a nice 64.12 and another 2nd
So please with how she went the mistakes were mine, oh one last thing from Ernest he said dressage ruins the SJ canter............thoughts
