Sis-in-law took one of the horses to the vets for me today as the last couple of weeks has seen him getting distressed and shaking his head when ridden.

Extremely helpful nurses in unloading him, and holding him during examination, the problem has been found.

Nasal polyps!

Lots of medication and a thorough examination. No teeth problems, heart and breathing spot on.

So he's had a bit of an MOT really! :D

I've been with this practice for YEARS and they are always pretty awesome. :)

Hooray for nice vets and practice staff!

My up country vet is absolutely amazing too.
Nothing is ever a problem and they often phone to check the problem patient is ok.
Its great to have brilliant vets!

Fab. A good vets is worth its weight in gold.

My dog's vet comes to the house for free on his way home from surgery, picks animals up if they're going in for operations etc. All for free (we just chuck bottles of wine at him!). Last week he came over, did two MOTs on the dogs and did their boosters for £50. My only complaint about him is he doesn't do horses!!
