My final Sol update

Oh dear, that's awful. So sorry to hear this

.

I don't know if you will want to do so, but it may well be worth exploring a second opinion on the navicular; there is so much that can be done nowadays for horses with navicular problems, from Tildren to specialised shoeing, it might just be worth looking at other options.

Life is an absolute bitch sometimes.
So terrible for you and for Sol,at least in the time you have had her you have truely loved her and done whats best for her pushing for a diagnosis when you knew something was wrong.
No words can make you feel any better at this time,I know from experience, but know that many people on here including myself who have never even met you or the gorgeous Sol have followed your story and are feeling for you now xx

I'm going to have a chat to the vet tomorrow about it ...
I don't even know where to start with it but I am going to see if there is anything I can do .

Thing is she's 5 and to most people she is now a lost cause ...

Really sorry to hear this. P!sses me right off that they can diagnose all these problems but they really can't do f-all about them.

Lovely horse, such a shame and so unfair. I'm gutted for you.

I have been following your threads about your horse. So sorry for you both it's news we all dread as horse owners. People who aren't horsey often don't understand how we feel about our horses but at least you know people on HHO can appreciate how terrible you will be feeling right now and in future weeks/months. Try to keep your chin up.

I'm so sorry. Always been lovely reading your posts about her/ seeing her photos

Been reading your updates hoping and praying for you. Sorry xx

Oh Bugger. I am so sorry to hear this diagnosis. Hopefully the vet can come up with some solutions for you. The bay in my siggie was diagnosed with navicular when he was 14, with careful shoeing and medication he came sound and continued competing well into his 20's.
