Off I trundled to Moreton Morrell at some god unknown hour of the morning to do my last event on my 15hher.
We had early times, scheduled to be finished by 11am, BUT they turned out to be running 45mins/1hour late due to the paramedics not turning up!!
When we got on, Remi warmed up ace, lovel leg yielding and mediums.
So we went in, and he was lovely. Didn't bother asking for medium trot as that was downhill :/ bugger. Lost a few marks.
And then the halt at the end, was awful imo. Mum agreed.
But judge didn't!! I got 30.5, in 5th place! Against lots of professional riders inc JP Sheffield!! I got one 6 and rest 7s. Including a 7 for that halt :O
Off to the sj. Warmed up, popped a few uprights to hear "you've got 3minutes number 62!" 3minutes?!
Popped a spread, before I went in. He was fab! Had a few bizarre strides, but he got us out of trouble, inc being really long into an already long treble!!
Clear round, YAY!!
Off to the xc after a quick change. I was sure I was going to vomit I was that nervous but off we went, fences 1-6 flew by, despite not being able to see due to streaming eyes over a few fences, up, down and over a skinny at 7. Flew over the course, got to fence 20 the water.
Over a boat house, into the water, cantered into a fence IN the water.
Remi went, :O we've never done this before, we had no stride at all. And I have no idea what happened until the next fence a double of houses.
Turns out after looking at the photos, he buried himself, leant on the fence, managed to get his front end over, stood on top of it, then got his back end over and picked up canter and off he went!
And we finished clear, inside the time. Woooo!!
Lots of checking limbs and icing legs up. Lots of polos!!!
Time to feed rider and owners. (Me and my parents!
)
Waited 4hours for the prize giving, so worth it as I won YAY! I also got interviewed by Eventing Magazine, I should be in the novemeber issue!!
Now I've got to advertise my horsie
Good day had by all. So I'm going to get changed and go to the pub.
Photos soon
