My first clip...

Just thought I would post, this is my first ever clip On a horse that last week reared to get out of being clipped, but have been working with her and over the past 2 days managed this! She was good as gold toward the end and stood still and relaxed most of the time. Going to tidy up her forelegs, tummy, chest and face tomorrow. Though face is dependent on if she'll let me!

Bit of advice needed though-When doing the tummy how far back do you go? I.e. clip around their udders or stop before them?

Well done, looks good for a first time, especially with a tricky horse

I go quite a way back on my horse's tummy, although she's not extremely hairy on her belly so don't go all the way towards her udders.

I clip all the way back to my gelding's "bits" and the inside of his back legs.

Samba has a semi circle around her udders and I trim the longer hairs with scissors. Leave the inside legs. You can't tell.

Nice, well done on getting that far.
Personally I take everything off, between the legs and around her udders but my girl gets very sweaty and sticky right at the back of her belly. I use little trimmers for in there tho as it's much easier

Didn't have much time yesterday but with some luck I can do her today and sort out the remaining belly fluff!
