My first day beating!

I had an absolutely fabulous day

It has been years since I went out, so it was decided that perhaps I should go alone to get into the swing of things without the worry of Devil Dog

Absolutley shattered now, was given two brace of Pheasant (which Otto may have just had a little practice retrieve of

and done an outstanding job too

) so can't wait to munch those!

Also really looking forward to next time, Devil Dog gets to tag along

Meanwhile, OH was left in charge of Otto... and neither of tem disgrace themselves! At first Otto refused to leave the Car Park, because clearly OH had forgotten me!! But after he realised I wasn't going to appear, he was very well behaved and came back to the whistle.
OH is now incredibly proud of himself, he has never had Otto off the lead by himself before!

May try and get some next time if juggling a stick and a dog isn't too much for me!

(Oh, and I managed to stay upright all day, despite some very steep, very slippery slopes and my lack of balance

Glad you had a good day.

We were out as well today, miserable wet and raining, I lost my lovely carrier, lots of steep hills, dogs knackered but the Sloe Vodka and Port made it all worthwhile!

Ravenwood, sorry to rub it in but we've had a glorious day up here in Dumfries and Galloway

I've got Raspberry Vodka, Strawberry Vodka and Blueberry Gin maturing in the cupboard. Just hope I can leave it alone long enough to be ready

YAY!! Glad you enjoyed it, it's impossible not to (well IMO!) Well done on staying upright! I find it hard most days (i blame it on having 10-15 birds hanging off my shoulder makes my balance terrible!!

So now you have the hang of it .. does that mean you're going to join Ravenwood down at our place next month?! Sloe Gin is a plenty lol
