Dressage is tough but fun.
I used to enjoy the challenge of different tests and moving up the levels as I'm sure you will too.

Have to say tho on your sheet you got a 6 for your first centre line when the judge commented on horse wondering yet on your final centre line the judge said you were straight and had a square halt yet only got a 5?! Should of been at least 7/8! You was diddled outta a mark or two!

Love dressage, don't love inconsistent marrking tho grrrrrr . . . . . .

As silly as the marking was, I bloomin passed! 50 %!!!

I was so so happy with that, I thought Id been disqualified!

I enjoy reading your posts and thought I would reply to one as I really admire your determination!
As said before, Prelim 10 is a really hard test - I hate it, and I used to be regularly getting high 60's with my old horse. The canter across the diagonal, followed by turning around the corner is really hard unless you're on a completely balanced horse.
I also think it was a bit harsh for the judge not to mark you at all for movement 6. did you not do it? I understand that you made an error, but to give you no marks? if you did it, even really, really badly, I would expect a 3 or a 4.

Hehe, Dawi is a bit of a big lump, so prob not as balanced as he should be! He did try very hard though and I was so proud of him

Have to say though, that canter across the diagonal is the fastest me and Dawi have ever gone!

I think with the errors, those were the two places where I went completely off course! I dont mind though, I got just over 50%!
