thank you for all your kind/supportive words. it's HHO that introduced me to Scally who dresses me in too-small-high-vis and where raff is currently living so i can use her facilities to get back on board more easily. and HHO that introduced me to Kerilli who sat on Raff before me to prove he was safe. and HHO that introduced me to Dobbin27 who is my new hacking partner/person who doesn't laugh at my snot bubbles. and HHO that has meant i've had dozens of lovely supportive PMs giving me TONNES of advice.
so, thank you to HHO. i owe you one... now, if you don't mind, i'm going hacking again...
Well done, thats brilliant, know exactly how you feel and its great you are dealing with it. Confidence is all a state of mind, much easier said than done tho! Onward and upward
Can't decide if thats my friend with you on Haigue with the yellow exercise sheet on?
I PMed you ages ago about her when you were looking for someone to hack with! Glad you had a lovely ride.
The hacking around there is lovely. I took my boy over to hack out with Marian in Sept we were out for ages all down the side of the big drain - it was lovely even if I had to demand some fishermen remove their tent from the bridleway (they expected us to ride on a ploughed field to get past). I also showed Marian how I deal with mad dogs not on the lead = CHARGE at them
Seems to be something in the air as several other people have posted about their bravery. I too had a mad moment of extreme confidence when I decided to hack out my project mare on a proper hack with a friend today. Unfortunately I had an unscheduled dismount but provided much amusement to friend / onlookers by climbing onto a council bin to get back on!!
