my first hack on grace today :D some pics

took grace out for our first hack today, she hasnt been out since october! we went out at 7am while it was quiet, i put prince in his stable and was super impressed with him as he didnt make a peep when we left, lead her down the track to friends stables next door and got on, i thought it would be better to lead her out so she doesnt want to nap at the gate. she was fantastic!! she was very tense but considering she hasnt been out in this area she was fab, she is foot sore so was very slow so we only walked, she was very tense and kept wanting to look behind her even though nothing was there. but we got back in one piece which was the main thing! she was very un impressed by the size of the bus though!
a few pics taken when we got back! please exuse the lower leg! i find putting my heel down alot gives me a very secure but light seat on a nervous and sharp horse. she doesnt like standing still for more than 30 seconds!

hehe! she stood for about 30 seconds and then said i dont want to play anymore!! she starts pouring the ground and fidgeting. she doesnt like being growled at though :O she really throws her toys out the pram. its strange having a new horse as you dont know how far to push them or how to tell there going to have a paddy!
