Hi All,

I’ve wanted to go to Olympia for the last… 20+ years….! But never actually bought tickets until this year.

I am going on Monday 21st December – Olympia Grand Prix day, and have a few questions. The Olympia website shows that it is an evening show, and my ticket says evening, but entry from 09:00AM. I’ve copied the below from the Olympia website, which looks like they have classes going on all day, has anyone bought an evening ticket before and gone to the whole day? I presume I will be ‘allowed’ in if my ticket says entry from 9AM even though it is an ‘evening ‘ one? (There’s no other option for the 21st other than evening).

If anyone has any other tips/things I must see please let me know, I am planning on taking my 12 year old niece with me.

Thanks
Danielle.

Hi Danielle,

Separate tickets are sold for the afternoon and evening performances. There is an afternoon performance ticket option on the Monday - but it is the six bar which is usually sold out within days. That might be why it looks from your purchase form as if there wasn't an afternoon option.

You should be able to get entry to the shopping village from 5pm; but your seat will be allocated to whoever bought the afternoon ticket. Entry at 9.00am is usually only for those with afternoon tickets - but I think you can get a separate shopping only ticket for 9am if you wanted to go shopping earlier.

Our tickets haven't arrived yet - they usually don't for another month or so. From experience the afternoon one says "from 9am" and the evening one "from 5pm". The website does say doors open at 9am - and they do. But you have to have the right ticket to go in!
