So my lovely pony Jay arrived today! He's brilliant and such a sweetie!
Did anyone else worry that they may have done something really bad with their first pony when they first arrived?!!
He has settled really well so far, was happy in his stable when I left but I keep thinking what if I've not given him enough hay? What if I've given him too much hay? What if i didn't secure his stable properly (i know i did - i went back and checked- but what if...) And all sorts of other silly questions!
I've been riding and hanging around stables since I was 10 on and off (now much older), so I'm not clueless, also have lots of very experienced friends around so I'm sure he's fine really!
I'm like a new mum - I want to keep running down to the yard (5 mins down the road from my house) to check on him every 10 mins. I'm looking forward to getting there tomorrow morning and seeing he has made it through his first night then maybe I'll be more relaxed tomorrow!
Sorry for rambling!
