My friend has asked me to post pics of her KWPN 6 year old mare for your opinions of her and what you would guess her value is currently.
The horse was in training livery with a fairly accomplished Dressage rider, when these pics were taken, approximately 8 months ago.
She can jump 1.20m with ease, and is always placed in Dressage when she has competed at Prelim level (in the top three places so far)

What do you think of conformation, movement and level of schooling ATM

Also she is just under 16.hh
Any comments would be much appreciated.

I think she looks and sounds like a lovely young mare who has been very well produced.

She's certainly a very nice looker. Perhaps very slightly straight in the shoulder? But really I am being picky, she's lovely and just my sort

I'm rubbish on prices but maybe £5K - £6K? Could be way out though!

Oh, just lovely.

I too would be saying around the £5-6k mark - although if she has BD points could be more??

Would she not be prohibited from pre-lim with a pro rider?

What a lovely horse.

She looks far better in the trot pic than the standing one - in the standing one she looks like a cut and shut, sorry

She needs to work forwards and round in a more relaxed manner and grow within her frame, but she certainly has something to work with

Whats a cut and shut? New terminology for me 'fraid.
Elaborate please
Thanks

Its basically saying she doesnt look in preportion. I.e. neck of a cob and body of a TB!

TBH i agree with Weezy. She looks far better in the action pic than the standing. Although i wouldnt turn her down if she jumps 1.20m with ease!

Is she for sale?

She is maybe. Pm me for details. Friend just gone off on holiday for a fortnight. The mare I know is out of top show jumping bloodlines but cannot remember for the life of me who Sire is.

She has incredible movement though, and all these top instructors in Kent that she has been to for schooling say she will easily go advanced/med. She has enormous trot and that sort of double kick forward (suspension) with the front legs when she trots.
Only seen it myself before in horses competing at Hickstead in the Med, and the Prix St George when I was down there a few weeks ago.

I think my friend really finds her too much for herself and really hasn't progressed riding her, although the horse has impeccable manners on the ground and under saddle.
