My friend went to visit a yard in ashford today and sent me the link to take a look and oh my god I am so jealous it is amazing. Mine are at home but this makes me think twice and I've never said that before. and she tells me that they are still renovating there so lots more is coming.

Good God. Just imagine the yard politics, though. 'My pony can jump 10'6" no problems', 'well, my bridle cost half my annual salary', 'yeh, well daddy said he's going to hire a groom for me'.

Of course, I'm not saying they'll all be like that, but my last yard was pretty posh and I was miserable there because, despite wonderful riding on Exmoor, fantastic facilities and SOME friendly people, the competitive 'my horse is better than yours and aren't you going to compete at all this year?' brigade spoilt it. I love my small, humble yard where everyone is friendly and helpful (on the whole).

I would rather keep at home, though.

So yeh, don't be jealous!

lol yes I do muck out in pj's every day!! I would not swap having them at home for anything BUT you won't believe this but I do miss having company around me when I ride!! (did I say that?)

It is £120 a week and she says it's not posh at all just well put together with everything you could think of and lovely people running it which is a bonus.

and you all putting it like that about having them at home is right ... how can I be jealous now can someone come and ride with me every day please!!
