... in lumps - i take it from the flies? Anything i can put on it? protect it?

Does she wear a fly mask? The flies are bad here at the moment, Ellie has been wearing hers, much to her disgust and has spent ages trying to get it off, to no avail!

No she doesn't wear a mask nor fly rug! I will be getting her one now though. In the mean time, is there anything i can put on the lumps?

Nettex Itch Stop Salve, but try on a small area first in case of reaction, I put it on my beast everywhere and right up to his eyes and in his ears with no ill effects, keeps the buggers away, again be careful as some peoples horses react to it.

Don't waste your money on fly repellents but invest in a good lightweight fly rug and a good mask with a nose flap.

For the lumps on her face, use as suggested the netttex itch stop salve but follow the instructions.
