Well I walked up the field to get my nice even tempered, easy going, laid back mare in and found her stamping her feet then rearing and then bowing and stamping her front feet again (before I even reached her, she was stood perfectly still until she saw me!!). Got her on her halter and proceeded to do the whole walk back to the stable, either on two legs, prancing at the side of me with her neck arched like a stallion going to a mare! Or doing circles!!! The bows and feet stomping were especially impressive!!! What on earth set her off I don't know, but hope it doesn't last, I've never seen her like that before!!! Once in her stable instant calm once again!!!!!! Jekly and hyde!! (sp?!) oh and at 16, she's old enough to know better!!

Quick video it sounds impressive :D

Yes we do the waving of legs, rearing ala Black horse in lloyds ad and some very impressive skyward movements - coats are starting to come out too so yes I think they are all going through the change LOL

Mine is no longer 15hh but approx 18hh at the moment and rather full of herself.

this could be conected with being in season take note and see if it happens again when she would be due in ,my mare had a rough time with her hormones making her overies cystic she starte dlike this got worse each month and had to have hormone treatment to get her right again x
