Is it just mine or are people in the same boat...it looks nice and green just not much growth going on...but I suppose this cold spell isnt helping :(

Ours is the same but today was the first day my horse didnt want to come in, hes usually lurking around the gate at 4 ish and he came in looking a bit bloated!!

Must be differen here in West Wales, i saw someone cutting & baling silage today! We have plenty of grass out with the horses as well.

Ours is awful too, top of the pennines is a bit chilly still for any length of growth, looks green enough but wouldn't last two minutes with the girls on it. we need some warm now we've had some wet.

Mine's not growing - weather was like winter at weekend , although my lot obviously think it's improved because they didn't want to come in yesterday morning , sun was shining and the yearlings were flat out snoozing !

We must be odd. Ours is growing faster than they can eat it. Weightaped my lot last might & was horrified (although HP did go down quite a lot after a good f**t). Grazing muzzles have gone on this morning.

I'm the same, i have split my paddock in two and have been doing 2 weeks on 2 off. The side i have just put them looks no different to the side they came off!!! yet my lawns are ankle long and were cut about 10 days ago. Odd!!!

ours is still not growing :(
miss fatty uk HRH is still on half a scoop of conditioning cubes and have a scoop of A&P P&P twice a day - and half a bale of hay a day  if she's not got her head down in the grass it's def not growing ;) she's the first to choose grass over hay

Mine is growing - but slowly- I had a spurt the other week when it was milder, and they are leaving their hay at night and looking good so they must be getting plenty- but yeah, the paddock that has been resting for about 10days looks no different and yet my goddam lawn at home needs mowing......and they are only about 200m apart! Whats that about then?

I'm in NW Kent, I've got some grass in my field that has had about 7 months rest, but it's not picking up in the others yet, plus we've had a couple of frosts which havn't helped. Lucky they're all natives and native x's and don't need any help putting weight on!

No grass here either :( Field looks so bare and yet lawn is growing like crazy! Walked my boys to my house on Sunday and turned them out on my lawn. Killed two birds with one stone. Boys had nice full tummies and my lawn got mowed :D

so glad you posted this - my grass has gone on strike too and I was starting to wonder if I had done something wrong :)

Also in NW...
its not growing... well not as much as i would like! Apart from the yard 'fatties' they are all out 24/7, but its nowhere near as green as i would like it! I guess i shouldnt complain though as the fields were also used all winter and as usual, have stood up really well.
Now... I am ANOTHER though whos grass in the garden is growing so fast its untrue... so much so that parts are going to be too long for the mower to cut at weekend!

Have some of mine! Three ponies now on what we call the lami paddock for prevention. Resting one field since the weekend which has got quite good growth after just a few days. It's surprising, when they are eating there doesn't look to be much on the field but the TB's looking really well.

Our grass still has a brown tinge to it but there is a slight green underneath. My horses are still comming when i shout with there food they are still getting a bit of hay which they are still happily eating

Grass has stopped growing in North Cumbria, cold nights and cant remember the last time it rained, so unlike the lake district! Garden growing with the dandylions in abundance.

Grass and weeds in the garden growing like billy-o. Over the hedge, a matter of 2 or 3 yards away, in the field hardly grown at all! Grrr!

Wow guys thanks for all your replies :) I really thought there was something wrong with the fields because as so many of you have said my lawns are going crazy :confused:
