My Mérens colt is now 20 months old and is going through (yet another) growth spurt.
Thankfully this means his withers (now that he actually has some!) are catching up with him bum.
As far as I can see he is definitely going to take after his dad who is very big for a Mérens (160cm vs 150cm average).
He really is a complete joy. I'm so pleased I took the plunge and bought a foal, rather than a "ready made" 3yo... even if I do hear all the time "when are you going to start riding him"
