My hairy yaks!! 3 days, and 11 clippers blades later!

Its taken me three days, two visits to the tack shop, a visit to the vets and ELEVEN clipper blades later to clip these two hairy yaks!. They are now clipped, bathed,deloused and sprayed! Im shattered!

Anyway, they are in NOWAY show condition having been dragged out of the field where they have vegitated since August. Please ignore the state of Inky ( slight infestation of critters, fat belly, but hopefully sort soon! )

Can anyone beat this for hairyness!!!????

No proper pics after their clips, couldnt be bothered id had enough, ill try and get some soon!!

I use Friend's Heingerman (sp!) clippers. They work brilliantly - don't get too warm, reasonably quiet and not too arm aching to hold. I'll be getting a set of their new multi-speed ones to cope with one very hairy (though not quite Yak proportions lol) cob and one scared-of-clippers DWB.

We do get through blades though when doing Little Cob! Which reminds me, blade sharpening needed
