......he absolutely loved it ;) :D

Little monkey came in covered in mud - obviously had a whale of a time and was looking very smug with himself!

BUNNY HUGGER/MOLLY CODDLER DISCLAIMER:
He's normally well rugged but when I popped down at lunch the sun was out and despite the temperature it felt quite warm so I thought I'd seize the opportunity. And when I went back the sun had gone in and I was feeling guilty but he was surprisingly warm.

Guess it goes to show that TBs can be tougher than you may think and he had obviously enjoyed a bit of fresh air on his back. Still can't wait for summer though.......

you mean he didnt curl up in a ball and cry till you got back?!

And he calls himself a TB....LOL.

Seriously i think coldness etc is individual i have a NF mare in a MW with neck and a HW with no neck under....she was SHIVERING and all hunched up and moody in her MW when i got to yard.....and she's unclipped.....

Sounds like he had a ball!

My TB's an incredibly hot horse, he's fully clipped, lives out 24/7 and isn't massively over-rugged like some. Not all TB's are shivering namby pambys!

Sounds like your horse had a wonderful time! Mine loves the cold. It's the rain, wind & cold together he dislikes.

Sounds like your TB is the same bloodline as mine! Also hunter clipped & living out. He's an incredibly hot horse too. Minimal rugging required & never loses condition.

My big lad had a GROOM today, he's been turned away for the winter, and hasn't had a proper groom (apart from having his feet picked out and flicked over with a curry comb) for a few weeks. He loved it.
He and the mare had there rugs off today, and basked in the sunshine! I love to see them all sleepy eyed and enjoying the sunshine.

Can't wait for spring!
