My horse accepts his bit now what?

My 2 year old has accepted his bit and will walk and halt in it but now how do i teah him to turn left and right etc?

My main aim for a youngster is to take them out and about, getting them to walk nicely and safely in hand and seeing as many spooky things as possible in an attempt to bombproof them.

Does he lead well from a headcollar? If he does then turning shouldn't be too much of a problem

try a bit of long reining
