My horse and dogs..... oh dear!

The yard dog is very annoying she is only a puppy really, but shes always jumping up on the stable doors and scaring the horses, but today my horse decided to take action.....
....when she jumped up on his stable door he shot forwards and grabbed her paw with his teeth the dog was left swinging by her paw looking rather shocked by the whole thing! Thankfully my horse let go of her quickly and the dog wasn't hurt thank god, but the dog certainly learnt a lesson!

It doesn't sound very pleasant but hopefully it will have scared the dog enough to not do it again!! Hope it wasn't hurt!!

I agree with Patchy, I think your boy probably just decided to teach it a lesson because he was fed up with the behaviour.

I don't think the pup will try it again!!!

I used to work at a yard where they had a Jack russell who would always try to bite the horses heels when they came ion to the yard.

He got kicked in the head several times but never gave up doing it !!

My pup used to have no fear, until she got bitten on the back. It was the best thing that could have happened! It hurt her a lot, but did no lasting damage and she was much more wary of them after that and kept out of their way!
