:D *warning, very selfish*
My horse was incredibly sweet - and I think speaks volumes for our bond :)

My horse goes out into a field beside my house, and the field is the border of our orchard (we make cider), I can see him from my bedroom window; today I was sunbathing (or roasting) to a nice red shade in my garden and watching him in the field at the same time - glorious :D

Anyway, it was time for him to come in, around 5.15 ish, and so I started to walk up the hill to the stables to let him in. He saw me, and started walking up as well.
I saw this, so I started to run to the top of the orchard, and he also broke into a gallop :D

We raced each other up to the stables; I picked some cow parsely for him as he was already standing at the blue gate waiting for me.
He looked so happy, and even more so when spied the cow parsley - yum!

So I walked around the wall to go open the other gate; to which he panicked and neighed at me - imo saying "where d'ch go? wait!" and trotted over :)
So I let him in and he was very happy :)

Sorry this was a selfish post, but I think it speaks volumes for how my horse and I have a great bond - really made my day :)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my kids pick cow parsley for my horse and their 2 ponies on the way home from school. We are always greeted with lots of neighs and the horse waits right at the end of his field closest to the road :-))

I had the biggest grin ive ever had when he did that :D

It really is the simple things - I know he will always look after me so I repay him by looking after him the best I can :D

Bless, and at all selfish of you to post :)

My boy had started mopping around the gate this week after having his feeds, it has taken me the best part of the week to work out that he wants me to go in so he can scatch his face on my back, some people say it is rude, but I LOVEIT, especially after all we have been through!!!!!!

Good on you

Bless him!

My young loan gelding was in one field in the day, and the field next door at night. I would come down to change him over and run down to the gate with him cantering really slowly right behind me then nuzzling me when I opened the gate and stood there to look at me as if to say thank you!!! before he went in :)

Bless :)
He sounds alot like my 3yo, she is SO sweet, I was playing in the field with her today- walking up to her and she walked up to me, then turning my back on her which made her nibble my hair, and then when I turned back round she did a little mini rear :p Then I walked away and she followed, when I ran she trotted, then I sat down and she put her head in my lap and dozed for about 15 minutes :D
Queenie on the other hand couldn't care less about humans :p

To get to the gate i have to walk around the field and she trots up and walks round with me and then neighs and then we race along the straight edge to the gate, its so funny.
I love it when she follows me about and stuff, today she rolled while i was in the field quite near me (which i took as a compliment because she feels safe) and then when my mum popped up at the gate she jumped up and galloped off! so i feel pretty good at the moment :):p

aww thats so sweet ... when i go to get my horse he sees me but just stands and eats as much as possible before i reach him lol although he winnies at me when he's in his stable :)

ps what is cow parsely?? lmao
