I think he took the name a bit literally...

He's so silly :p

I think that is a very sensible horse. Not only as he got a comfy place to rest his head while he has a snooze but he is also stopping anyone else stealing his hay while he sleeps!

Great picture.

It's a paddock pillow, or a ground haynet. So it's safe for them to eat off the floor.

I'm glad you all like it, I think he looks really silly!!!!

I had to google them!!!! :)

How robust are they. Is there no way they can get caught under shoes etc, especially when the horse is lying down, without breaking? Really good idea if they pass my "hayney phobia" test!!!

Yeah they are safe. You have to make sure you get the trelice that doesn't have metal in as I don't think that would be. Do 3 edges up with cable ties and have a piece of cord to lace the open edge closed.

Mine are all babies and they give them a pretty hard time, kicking, stamping on them etc and I've never had a problem. When they are empty they just lay flat on the floor.

There's lots of posts about them on here if you have a look :)

Hahaaa about the marshmallow joke!! :D
