My Horse Embarks on his European Trip in 4 hours! (Emigration Contd..)

don't worry he will be fine. Definetly agree ferry journerys are better than road especially in current weather. I have several times had Dan on a 20 hour trip which included a 12-14 hour over night ferry crossing. And done the journey several other times with other horses and ponies. All have travelled well once on board, Dan generally just falls asleep with head out the back ramp which I wedge and tie open. Sounds like you have found a very professional transporter and as it is a dedicated journey she will be spending that much extra time concentrating on him.

Also as they say no news is good news, probably asleep now (as I should be) and don't worry the boat workers (want to call them dockers but they're not

) will be on deck almost all the time during the journey so there will be someone keeping an ear and an eye so to speak.
