My horse got a bit excited at the beach...ouch *pics*

..and now i have a big bruise

Went to the beach with school equestrian team this weekend, took new boy, who was very excited to meet all the ponies, but didn't put a foot wrong otherwise apart from occasionally refusing to move a single step without all his new mates

Went for a last ride on beach on Sun morn before returning home, we all went in for a paddle, and stupid TB (love him really

) sees a HUGE (maybe 4 or 5 inches high

) terrifying wave coming towards him, leaps several feet in the air over it, head went up and back, and his neck collided quite hard with my face

It's probably nothing special in comparison with some of the war wounds on here, but it hurts and i look stupid

Go and get some arnica tablets and arnica cream - Boots sell it and use it!! It will help the bruising go down much quicker and makes it less colourful. Of course you may like you make like your war wounds.......

You are VERY lucky, I know of someone who got headbutted like that but she ended up with a broken jaw

ouchies hope you heal quickly....My poor OH when I got two black eyes from a horse hitting me in the face I used to quickly say 'my horse hit me in the face' people still looked at him like he was a wife beating Barsteward....he stopped coming out with me in the end till it healed.
