I totally agree Rowreach - it's horrible to read this stuff - so unnecessary
I am not at all comfortable with the way some of you are taking the **** out of a new poster who is very probably a child with little experience. What a welcome this thread in particular has given them![]()

Yes, this is what I really hate about this forum, it is full of bullies ready to jump on anyone new.![]()
Agreed, I actually think I was a bit harsh myself with my post and I now regret it.

I had the temerity to laugh at a joke about crudités, I suppose I'm now lumped into the 'bully' category. However I do now feel (rightly - or wrongly?) guilty for laughing at a joke.![]()
Perhaps you could have tried helping the OP instead?
And rather than coming on to this thread to attack me and others - perhaps you yourself could turn this thread around and offer a few gems from your great expertise? But no, you deem it more appropriate to have a whine at me on the OP's thread rather than help the OP yourself. Pots and kettles?
So you don't really feel guilty then?

Yes but who cares as long as people can have a laugh, right? I mean, a young child needing help and now being confused and hurt, maybe sitting alone in their bedroom doesn't really matter does it? Ridiculing other humans and upsetting them is only a bit of entertainment for regular posters eh? just surprised some of the other regular nasties haven't jumped on it yet, but I'm sure they will soon.
I had a horse who was a thug by nature. Hours of ground work and he was educated enough he would move back from a finger pint, do lateral work in hand and even a very terrible version of a spanish walk. But his default setting was always thug. I think he was in the minority though in that he was hard wired that way. I had to have him PTS in January and despite being in terrible pain and 9/10ths lame, he still headbutted me twice when I went to put his headcollar on.
Things that helped me were a Monty Roberts Dually. He responded very well to this. He went from not loading to walking on confidently. I also had to be quite hard on him. No leeway ever!
By 6yrs old he was growing up and much better. He still had to be kept on top of regularly though. When he was in regular and consistent work he was a different horse. He still had an enormous sense of humor and could assess a situation/person in a nano second!
Could you book a lesson with your trainer and work on loading and groundwork?
Where have I slated you fidgety, I've offered you advice to help you with your guilty feelings.
Eta ... I find it admirable to see you have a conscience
Grow up fidgety!

Thank you for this. I am new to this forum, and just needed help, not for people I tell me to shoot my horse!
