My horse has a lump around her Lynth Gland

Hi I'd like some of your thoughts please! My horse has developed a hard and extremely tender lump around her Lynth gland. She is perfectly well with no temperature, snot or trouble eating on drinking. The lump is the size of a small orange and has not changed shape or size since I noticed it 4 days ago! Any ideas would be great

Phone the vet for advice AND callout, take temp twice a day and don't mix with others. Lets hope it is not an infectious disease for the sake of others in the yard.

Am guessing that you mean the lump is in the vicinity of a lymph gland?? If so, which one? There are many on the horse's body and the location may be key in determining how serious or not this may be.
