My horse has a scabby face!

I don't know what they are, you can't see them and they're not painful. They come off pretty easy, but they're all over her face, just wondered if maybe they could be a reaction to fly bites? Don't seem to bother her.

My horse must seem very scabby, she's always got scabs somewhere!!

someone told me grey horses are often like that... but yours probs isnt a grey anyway!!!

At least mine's not the only one. She gets bad mud fever too so maybe she's just prone to scabbiness

Think I've figured out the scabs are mosquito bites. She's been plagued by them recently and I'm pretty sure that's what's causing them
