Evening all,

I'm sat at the yard on a bucket in my horses stable keeping her company while she suffers with colic.
It's just heart breaking.

Keep send me your good vibes.

Serena xx

My horse had colic yesterday evening as well, so I know how you feel, happily half an hour in the horse walker, 10 mins trotting on the lunge and one pooh later did the trick.

Haven't heard how he is this morning ( was checked late last night ) and no news is good news. :) .
Glad your horse is better too op horses are such great cause of worry .

Hope she's ok. My boy was found h colic in the field by the farmer 2 hrs after my sister left them last Wednesday. By 8pm he's been operated on to re-position a section of his large intestine that had flipped over his spleen. Thank god the farmer keeps an eye on them all or it would have been a different story. Doesn't bare thinking about :(( xx

Hope your horse is well, but i do suggest instead of sitting on a bucket you lead it out and let it have a pick of grass but keep it moving, rolling i understand doesnt cause the gut to twist, confirm with yr vet though, but movement does make them feel better just like you and i when we have a sore stomach

Thanks for all the support, I'm pleased to say she's out of the woods! Droppings back to normal and almost back to normal feeding. Very relived!!
She was her bright and pushy self when I arrived Sunday morning, eager to get out and pull me round the yard

Thanks again!
