havent ridden now for 2 weeks due to snow and ice (which for the first sign today..is disapearing!) so thought i'd clip all ready to start work again half way through he starts figgiting and trying to get out of the spare box

so put him in his stable to have a wee or roll (he did both) and contiued clipping...still figgiting and being annoying managed to finish, went to tidy up his box and that was it...clearly thought we were going somewhere got so excited with his new haircut

when i put him back in his box (hates being turned out in winter) he would not move from the door pawing the groung and wickering everthing i moved or spoke, think he's trying to say 'come on mum when we going out' so going to bite the bullet and ride in the rain in a bit

evan with my nice clean tack...and get wet....just to keep him happy...

lol i know.....he was turned out two days ago for an hour and lunged last night, luckily he's not to silly, he'll just be keen and probably jog a bit...i hope......

well he was well behaved, didnt get to wet! hollyb66 not sure how to explain a wicker???? like neighing but not? if that makes sense?? u know like they'll neigh for instance when calling another horse..but wicker if they want their dinner or as a greeting?

Thanks for that, one of the ladies on the yard said my horse had a loud 'nicker' - I asked a horsey friend what that was and she didn't know - maybe she meant to say wicker.

So, I'm pretty sure I know what you mean.

Cheers
