Well in my eyes anyway

On saturday he did his second ever BD (he' only done 4 in total!) and got 68.75% and 4th out of 24, then today I flew round the forest on him with 2 friends from the yard flying all the jumps we could find with a huge grin on my face and I'm not a confident jumper. He is only 5 but so far has proven to be a really nice man, happy to have a go at anything.

So this post is to acknowledge how great I think he is!

Tell me about your superstars!

well done you and your horsey!!

my pony got a 4th at his first ever cross country yesterday, he's only 5 aswell and has been a real brat lately with the guy who has him on loan, im really proud that he got round the course and i wouldnt have cared if he never got placed - that was a bonus!!

awww, he sounds like a good boy Burtie

My pony is a superstar because he jumped 2ft yesterday without hesitation, he went to the gallops last weekend and we had so much fun, and he went to a show a few weeks ago and did me proud. And he makes me laugh everyday

Well done!

My horse is special, a lot of people have asked if they can steal him from me. A girl from my pony club rode him the other day and said "Where can I get one of these?!", his dressage is becoming fab and he'll jump anything.

He makes me laugh too, he tries to hide from me when he doesn't feel like being ridden, he runs into the corner of his box and turns around because he thinks he's a little pony (he's 16h2"!)

hiya burtie! glad he's doing so well!! i bet he's huge now and as stunning as ever.
well done on the dressage results. have you still got his mum?
my boys just turned 5 and is as cheeky as ever- think he's going to be into dressage more than jumping though but we'll see.
love to herbie and hannah X

Yes still have Hannah, well sort of, she is on full loan to a lovely girl, but is still based at my yard in the stable next door, so Herbie still adores her! Pop by and say hello some time, is your horse nearby?

He is a good 16.2hh now.

will do- would love to see herbie again- 16.2!!! that's high up!
i'm at newpark with my boys - still got Jo and have a sharer for him and Archies my new boy.

thats really cool. my new boy is a superstar cos hes made me love horses again after my tb. lhes not a superstar just the quietest genuine chap ever - i rode him to my house yesterday (our first hack alone) it took 3 hours round trip and he then ate grass on my front lawn and didnt put a foot wrong, even at teh really busy main road. he even let my non horsey oh feed and change his rug(didnt mind him forgetting the leg straps and walking off yanking them along..)
