my horse is determined to have 3 and a half legs

i got alfie out of the field this morning to find hes gone and aquired a 5 inch gash to the inside of his knee.
i can't believe it, its his bad knee too.
so i cleaned it up and phoned vet out to stitch it, shes had to leave the bottom open to drain, but hes all bandaged up and on box rest again.
hes getting too used to all the extra attention i think when hes on box rest. he was smurking over his stable door happily when i left him.
this horse is determined to make my hair go grey early, but i still love him to bits.
i didn't have my phone on me so no pics yet but i will get some in 3 days when i can re bandage it.
can we have some good vibes to make sure that the stitches hold out please.

We got one of them - Determined to only have 3 legs, infact we call him the 3 legged horse because of the blemishes he has on one of them!

i can't believe how any horse can be so accident prone, i think he likes the idea of being a field ornament.
its a good job im in the middle of re morgaging the house cos if he carries on my vets gonna be loaded by the end of the year.
must make a mental note to insure this horse asap when i eventually get his leg better.
