hi! i got my horse about a year ago and he was so perfect. he’s around 6 and i loved him when we first got him. a few months later he started to get super agressive (picking people up by their shirts, biting, rearing, bucking, crowhopping, won’t move etc.) i started to realize i couldn’t handle it alone so i hired a professional to come help me. he got so much better and i was able to ride him without problems and he got much more quiet. then my instructor was hurt and he immediately went back to what he was before. i wasn’t any less timid and acted the same as i did with my instructor. i keep thinking something is wrong but everyone says he’s fine. i want to ride him and love him but it’s so hard when i can hardly touch him.

Sorry to hear of the problems you are having with your horse.

This area of the forum is extremely quiet - so you may get a better response if you post your question in 'The Tack Room'.

Something has obviously changed since you first had your horse, and so many questions need to be asked and answered in order to determine what the issue may be. I would be looking to have a full vet work-up, teeth, back and saddle checked as an absolute minimum.

As I say, please pop your question in the tack room - I am sure you will receive some further advice on there. :)

Your horse is in pain. Ignore the people who say hes fine and find out what the issue is.
that’s what i’m saying! unfortunately i’m a minor and my parents only listen to my trainer and they say that it’s just behavioral. i’m moving him to a different barn soon and i’m hoping i can work something out with my new trainer to get the vet out

Something has happened or changed. The issue is workout what is wrong or hurts. You will need to be your horse's advocate and push for a proper work up, tests etc... with an appropriate equine vet.
