My horse is eating me out of house and Likits!

Ellie has been through so many Likits in the past few months - since I got her over her phobia of them, she has decided that they are quite simply divine, (although only Mint and Apple flavour - she detests the Cherry ones!) So last week I bought her the Boredom Breaker, thinking that it might outfox her, and that it would take her longer than 8 minutes to devour the Likits inside!

Well, silly me

It took her 6 days to figure out that the big glittery pink ball hanging from the beam actually contained food....but now she has worked it out, she is once more unstoppable. Both Likits gone in one night!

he is rarely allowed them as liket + Rupert = rodeo pony!

I found the only way to slow mine down was to put it in a tight plastic coated "wire" (for want of better word) grid like container which screwed to the wall. It would last a whole day then if i was lucky. The swinging ones went in minutes as she'd just pin it against the wall & bite it.

Liri thinks her lickit is going to turn into a monster and eat her. How did you get over the phobia as our brand new licket has been hanging in her stable for two months now.

Ellie was terrified of hers at first! I hung it up and she just stood at the back of her box, snorting at it!

In the end, I took it down and just fiddled with it, and waited for her to come up to me. She's very inquisitive, so it didnt take long for curiousity to get the better of her! I broke a bit off the side of the Likit and let her taste it; after several head tosses and much licking of lips, she decided she'd have a bit more, and before long she was licking (and trying to eat it!) from my hands! Eventually I hung it up and she was fine then, had got the idea! Now she has a salt lick as well, which she always used to be frightened of too!

Star eats hers in the time it takes to run a bucket of water. She doesn't get them too often now!

And I thought it was only my pony who scoffed them in one night. He has his hanging in the middle of the stable and can nearly get the whole thing in his mouth in one go. What a pig
