My horse is having his "rig test" today

Thanks, I will let you know. He is most put out at being in a paddock on his own but I cant trust him at the moment! He can see other horses but either wants to herd/attack them (geldings) or get jiggy with them....

Sounds like it would be easier to find out that he was a rig, at least you could get him sorted again. I would rather have a diagnosis for his behaviour, if I were in your shoes.

Keep us posted.

oohh, I had the bloods taken on mine on Sunday night and should get results back today, have everything crossed that hes not. Everything crossed for you to! will you get your results today?

Surely it's easier though to find an explanation for his behaviour - ie being a rig then you can treat it? If he's not a rig then there's not many options to improve his behaviour. I had my pony tested but turned out (apparently) he's not a rig but i am still not convinced, although he doesn't try mounting any horses but he is very stallion like in his behaviour with other horses and in general how he looks certainly now considering his age.

I'd be hoping he is a rig then you know why he acts like he does and can look at treating him.

I, too would hope that he is a rig, and you can go from there and treat it. Iam sure there are treatments and supplements that would help 'calm him down'.
Trouble with boys 'eh!!!
