My horse is scared of something!

I was begining to think Beau had rabies or something, because he shows no fear of anything, he is the type of horse for example who will sick his head in a cardboard box on a windy day, lift head up with box on head, and still not bat an eyelid

From day one he has never put a foot wrong, even the first day we rode him he didnt bat an eyelid when a dog started running between his legs trying to bite his girth, well today I found something that got a reaction....bikes!

Someone was trying their bicycle out, rode in front of his stable, squeaky brakes and all....and he snorted and stepped back! He is a HORSE!

It only lasted 30seconds though then he tried to pick said bike up

PMSL, new bike now has teeth marks in nice new rubber handles...I think he was trying to pul it over the stable door!

i think it has something to do with the lack of oxygen at that height !!!!! lol

I had a horse to start last year like that. He barely opened his eyes during the breaking process, hacked like a half dead trail horse the first time out and generally made us routinely check him for a pulse. Then one day the racing bikes went by on the road . . .!!! In his defence it took him about ten minutes and then he stopped caring, whereas many of the other horses never came to grips with the silent predators. Of course it was on a day someone came to see him.

My pony adores our bike, he's usually quite silly out hacking, he spooks and won't go forward. When he's following Mum on the bike he's as good as gold
